Glorified in history and mythology, the Bosphorus is a great source of pride to Istanbul’s residents and one of the city’s most important sources of transportation. It also provides a scenic means of viewing both the European and Asian sides of this fascinating city.

From your comfortable vantage point, palaces, castles, small fishing villages and forests of cypress, pine and magnolia trees are visible. Pass by the Kuleli Military Academy of the Army, where Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey, once studied.
Then after lunch at a local sea food restaurant, cross to the Asian side to visit the BEYLERBEYİ PALACE, 19th century summer residence of Ottoman Sultans, with its original furniture and magnificent gardens.
